Ils sont en France! Cliff et les Shadows donneront leur concert (unique) ce soir à 20h au PALAIS des CONGRES. En apéro, le magazine JUKE-BOX a réalisé un formidable reportage "come-back sur leur carrière" de 6 pages avec cette photo à la "UNE". Bravo, c'est si rare en FRANCE!

Je souhaite à mes amis français une grande et belle soirée, je pense notamment à SERGE, à son épouse, à sa fille de 14 ans (Lily, avec Y) une des plus jeunes fans de Cliff et à celle qui nous servira de relais CLIFFETTE de TOULOUSE qui participe aussi à ce blog.

Demain, je serai à Forest NATIONAL à BRUXELLES avec tant d'autres ami(e)s: Lili (avec I) , Carmen, Maria, Christian, Fernand, Jean-François, les membres de l'orchestre BLUE SHADOWS de Verviers et les autres. WHAT A WEEK-END! MY FRIENDS!

Cliff Richard & The Shadows - Live At The 02.

Après l'énorme succès de leur tournée en Grande-Bretagne, Cliff Richard et les Shadows seront à nouveau présents ce jeudi 5 novembre dans 40 salles de cinéma ODEON de toutes les villes des R-Unis. 2 heures et demi de spectacle avec le concert enregistré en octobre au 02 LONDON.

In 1959 Cliff Richard first recorded and performed with The Shadows. In 2009 exactly 50 years later, Cliff and The Shadows are back on the road - 20 years since they last performed together in concert. Racking up an impressive 19 No.1 hits, including; 'Living Doll', 'It's All In The Game', 'Travellin' Light', 'Bachelor Boy', 'Wonderful Land' and 'Apache' Cliff Richard and The Shadows also appeared together in the films 'Summer Holiday' and 'The Young Ones', from which came million-selling hit singles and albums.

Filmed Live at the 02, Cliff Richard, Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett take to the stage together for the very last time and ODEON are exclusively presenting the concert in 40 cinemas nationwide for one night only on November 5th.

Quant à l'Album REUNITED, il demeure à la 7è place au ranking des charts de la BBC. Vu la concurrence, c'est un beau résultat même si les plus optimistes des fans espéraient un nouveau number One. Ce sera pour le DVD de la tournée, j'en suis persuadé.
